Delhi to host Northeast Global Investor Summit-2023 in August

The Northeast Global Investor Summit-2023 is a mega event that aims to attract investment in the resource-rich northeastern region of India. The summit will be held in Delhi, the national capital, in August 2023. The summit will showcase the potential and opportunities of the eight northeastern states in various sectors, such as tourism and hospitality, agro-food processing, textiles, handloom and handicrafts, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, education and skill development, Information Technology and Services, entertainment, sports, tea, energy and others.
The summit will also provide a platform for networking and collaboration between investors, business leaders, government officials, diplomats and other stakeholders from India and abroad. The summit will highlight the initiatives and incentives offered by the central and state governments to promote trade and investment in the northeast region. The summit will also feature state roundtables, road shows, B2B and B2G meetings, panel discussions and cultural programs.
The Northeast Global Investor Summit-2023 is being organized by the Ministry of Development of Northeast Region (DoNER) in partnership with Invest India and FICCI. The summit is expected to boost the economic growth and development of the northeast region and create employment opportunities for the local population.
